17th ANNUAL GOLDEN BLADES CHAMPIONSHIP of PITTSBURGH was held April 12, 2014 at the BladeRunners Ice Complex (Harmar Township). It was a full day of skating at BladeRunners; over 100 competitors competed in the Basics Pre-Alpha to the Light Entertainment Showcase. There were plenty of smiles on the ice with some wonderful performances. Briana Coyne closed the day out for the Ice & Blades Skating Club. It was her last year to compete at the Golden Blades Championships as she will be graduating this year.
Skating clubs participating were, BladeRunners, First Arena, Ice & Blades, Beaver, Ice Connections, Kirk S Nevin, North Park, Planet Ice, RMU Island and SC of Greater Youngstown. If you would like information about joining next year's competition please contact Joyce DiToppa 412-780-6637 |
