2015 WNY Spring Skate Competition

WNY Skating Club held their 25th Annual Spring Skating Competition this past weekend in Buffalo, New York. What an amazing weekend of figure skating it was as this competition goes International. Many of the Canadian Clubs around Southern Ontario participated in this event making it very memorable for many of the skaters. Over 300 figure skaters from the Basic Skills Learn to Skate Program all the way to the competitive ISU skaters. And lets not forget the creative Showcase and Team Competitors. This event keeps growing every year, It's one of the most popular competitions to Figure Skate at for many reasons. The International level of Figure Skating, the quality of skaters and how well the event is run. It was a full weekend of skating with 2 rinks buzzing with activity. If you missed it check out the highlights and you will get a great feel for the excitement that went on last weekend.

The Clubs that participated this year were, Amherst Skating Club, Aurora Skating Club, Barrie Skating Club, Buffalo Skating Club, Charter Oaks Skating Club, Forest Hills Skating Club, Genessee Skating Club, Georgina Skating Club, Jamestown Skating Club, K-W Skating club, New Market Skating Club, North Toronto Skating Club, Niagara Centre Skating Club, Milton Skating Club, Markham Skating Club, Mississauga Figure Skating Club, Orillia Skating Club, Pickering Skating Club, Pittsburgh Skating Club, Richmond Training Center, Scarboro skating Club, Skating Club of New Hartford, Skating Club of Westminster, Strathroy Skating Club, Streetsville Skating Club, Syracuse Skating Club, Thomas Creek Skating Club,Youngstown Skating Club, Richmond Training Center, Wainfleet skating Club, Woodbridge Skating Club, Thomas Creek Skating Club, Several Individual Members and last but not least the WNY Skating Club. Special thanks to all the volunteers who helped out in this year's competition, It's those volunteers that make it a huge success.
