I am extremely proud of this production of the RMU Island Sports Center's "Christmas on
Broadway!" It was a fun adventure to listen to some of the old Broadway favorites tunes
and be introduced to some newer shows like, Hamilton. It was certainly a fun show to
create and direct! The quality of our coaches and skaters, of all levels, are outstanding
and enjoyed bringing Broadway and Christmas music together for our "Christmas on
Broadway!"
A truly successful production however, involves more than what is presented on our stage
of ice! This is not only an artistic learning experience for our skaters but a lesson in
cooperation, mutual respect, teamwork and commitment, all of which is essential to see
our production come to life! The commitment of the RMU ISC Staff, parents and family
members who support our skaters, coaches and all that goes into creating the final
production is exceptional! (Especially with all of the early morning, weekend
rehearsals!) The skaters have learned that regardless of their role in the show, that they
all can share in the pride and success of this accomplishment.
