"2014 EXTRA EXTRA Highlight"

The Silver Blades Skating Club held their 39th Skating Ice Classics this past weekend in Findlay, Ohio. This years show entitled "EXTRA EXTRA" was a spectacular event of skating. The audience was treated to guest skaters Mirai Nagasu, she placed 4th in the 2010 Winter Olympics. Mens 2012 Silver Medalist Adam Rippon, Ice Dance Team Kaitlyn Hawayek & Jean-Luc Bakerand, in 2013 they were Us Junior Silver Medalists and special guest Findlay's own Matthew Blackmer.
90 skaters from around the area of Findlay participated in various numbers from Jailhouse Rock to Spiderman. From the colorful costumes to the big smiles... it was a amazing weekend of skating. This year's show was directed by Christy Wronkowicz and was helped out by show professionals... Shelly Bressler, Melanie Cole, Kim Fancher, Molly Kerr, Joy Thomas, Marianne Mazur-Stewart, Tracy Koehler and Sheri Leatherman.
