The six bedrooms (5 masters) are tastefully decorated and extremely comfortable with the grand master (with JACUZZI tub) off the great room on the upper level. Four of the masters have french doors leading out to covered porches, offering a relaxing getaway, or a place for your morning coffee. |

The top floor offers a beautiful kitchen and dining room, great room with a 50' plasma HDTV with streaming NetFlix, large windows with sound views, and a separate reading area.
This area is great for family gatherings, relaxing, watching movies, playing a board game or cards and preparing meals together. The spacious decks offer great views and include a screened porch just off the dining room. |

The game room on the first level serves as an entertainment area, with a flat screen TV, bar stools, a mini fridge and a pool table (4'x8' American Heritage).
The game room leads to a covered deck overlooking the private pool and hot tub. Store your gear in the lockable storage area under the carport! |

Also, we provide our guests with *GOLD* membership at Klub Koru. This includes unlimited exclusive access to the sought after members only Private Beach Klub (they have a beautiful oceanfront pool with sun decks, shade, tiki bar, private oceanside parking, and concessions).
Check out their calendar of events and enjoy their concerts, teen nights, and Luaus! It also includes unlimited access to the sauna, gym, and oceanfront fitness classes. These facilities are located approximately 1 mile from the home, next to the Avon Pier. We LOVE this when we visit as it is great for the kids. Our guests rave about it as well. |

Our home is located in the prestigous Kinnakeet Shores Neighborhood, Hatteras Island's largest resort style community offering 69 acres of lake access, multiple walking trails, and paths leading to the Pamlico Sound.
Staying in this home gives you the luxury of free access to the Kinnakeet Shores soundside pool (Olympic Sized swimming pool plus kiddie pool) and tennis courts, which are within walking distance. |

As of 2014, our guests also have unlimited access to the Avon Pier for fishing and sightseeing (no fishing license is required to fish on the pier!)
The Avon Fishing Pier is the only pier remaining in operation in the Cape Hatteras National Seashore. |

Sheets provided (beds are made for you prior to arrival to improve the comfort of your stay) for all weekly rentals. Pool Heat $300. Pack-N-Play and Highchair provided.

We chose this home because of the wonderful quality and condition of the home compared to the other homes we looked at, despite the lengthy rental history. Some of the things we loved about this home compared to the other homes we looked at include the beautiful views of the sound, especially at sunset, the 5 master bedrooms, the extensive amount of decks, the VERY convenient location to restaurants, shops, and Food Lion, and the peaceful, family-friendly neighborhood.
